Founded in 2022 by Stephanie Ruiz and Trey East, East Ventures Digital blends creativity, strategy, and cinematic storytelling to bring people and missions into focus. Rooted in Alamance County, we partner with nonprofits, tourism organizations, educational institutions, and businesses across North Carolina to highlight their people, purpose, and impact.
Stephanie Ruiz
Co-Founder + Executive Producer
Stephanie leads marketing, operations, and project strategy at East Ventures Digital. She works closely with clients to shape their stories, guide the creative process, and keep every project moving with intention.
As a first-generation American with Salvadoran roots, her cultural background and fluency in Spanish shape how she connects with people and approaches storytelling, bringing a perspective informed by different cultures and lived experiences.
Trey East
Co-Founder + Creative Director
Trey leads creative direction and cinematography at East Ventures Digital. With over seven years of experience in film, video, and photography, he combines lighting, composition, and directing to create cinematic work that connects with audiences.
A graduate of an HBCU with a degree in psychology, Trey brings an understanding of human behavior to his work, shaping how he approaches each story, guides people on camera, and translates ideas into compelling visuals.
